Abu Dhabi-developer Eagle Hills is expected to commence the schematic design of the $180 million Twin Towers, Dubai by early November. The concept design for the project is currently under progress and expected to complete by early September 2015. The schematic design is expected to commence by first week of November 2015. Located in Dubai Marina area, the project comprises 80-storeyed twin towers (a 5-star hotel, a residential building and serviced apartments) with four podiums. Archgroup Consultants International has been mandated as the design and architectural consultants while Ramboll Middle East has won the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) consultancy contract. Construction is expected to commence by second quarter of 2016 with completion slated for third quarter of 2018.Eagle Hills is also planning to open a resort in Fujairah, which will feature over 150 hotel rooms and 100 villas, added the source, without giving any further project details.
