Paris is to host “Africa Forum 2016”

AfricaFrance Association has organised the 2nd business forum in Paris on 22-23 September. The forum will include a number of economists and financial experts.

A huge number of countries’ representatives will attend the forum, along with more than 800 companies and decision makers from Africa and France. France’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Economy and Industry and African Development Bank president, along with a number of high-profile officials, are to attend the forum.

Economic relations, insurance, agriculture industries, transport, culture, media and digitizing will be addressed in the forum. The main objective of this forum is to strengthen economic relations among French-African institutions and encourage investments in various fields such as sustainable farming, modern communication means and energy.

It is worthy to note that Africa is exerting efforts to strengthen its relations with many countries, especially China as it represents a significant economic partner. As for France and Europe, they seek to regain their economic investments in Africa through organsing such an annual forum and preparing for another African-French summit, to be held in Bamako in January 2017.
